Estus "Purdy" Link

Estus "Purdy" Link (b. 1942) is the great-uncle of GKDA regulars Mike and Rusty Link.  Born in the potato fields of eastern Pennsylvania and raised in a strict Amish household, Estus lived a simple life up until mid-July, 2013.   It was then that he heard of the re-formation of the Greater Knoxville Darts Association, and through this very website learned that his great-nephews Mike "The Dude" Link and Rusty "The Dude's Brother" Link were playing the heathen game of  "arrows" or "spears" as the Amish call it.  Estus quickly readied his horse and carriage and began the long journey down I-81 to Bailey's, a place he had only dreamed about.   Within seconds of Estus's arrival during the Friday blind draw, the players knew something special was in the air.  Jeff Stratton proceeded to hit the mystery out and The Dude went on to win the tournament that magical night.  The photograph to your left was taken seconds after The Dude claimed victory, and as you can probably tell by Estus's expression, The Dude's victory was not random at all; for you see, Estus "Purdy" Link MADE it happen, for he is The Oracle of GKDA!
